What’s happening?
Trello is acquiring Butler for Trello.
What happens to Butler?
Butler will be integrated into Trello. Keep an eye on Trello's blog for updates.
Will Butler be included in my free, Business Class or Enterprise Trello account?
While Butler will be available to all Trello users, Business Class and Enterprise customers can expect more advanced capabilities and higher usage thresholds.
Can I sign up for Butler now?
We are currently not accepting new users, but will soon.
I’m an existing Butler user with a free account, can I upgrade while you integrate it?
Sorry, we are currently not accepting new paid subscriptions, but you can continue using Butler as you have been so far.
I’m a customer with a current paid subscription, what happens with my account?
You will be able to continue using it without interruption.
If your account is in good standing (no unpaid invoices), the only immediate change is that we will stop charging you for the service until the product integration is in place:
For month to month customers, this means that your credit card will stop being charged for your Butler for Trello subscription.
For pre-paid annual customers, we will be reimbursing your credit card pro-rata for the number of full months left in your subscription after December 10, 2018. We expect to issue these annual subscription partial refunds during the month of December.
Outstanding unpaid charges will continue to be retried as normal, and the associated subscriptions will be canceled if left unpaid.
What happens to Butler Bot?
During 2018, we shared on our public Trello board and in the help center that Butler Bot is being phased out, and we encouraged users to migrate to the Butler Power-Up. This acquisition will not change the plan. We will provide a path to migrate commands to the Power-Up before phasing out the Bot.
My question is not answered here, who can I ask?
You can contact us at support@butlerfortrello.com as usual. Please note that, at this point, we are not able to provide any concrete information or reassurances about how a particular scenario will translate after the integration.
